Media and Corporate Communications Committee
 

The Media and Corporate Communications Committee is the public face of SIMSREE. It liaisons with the media and handles the publicity work. This year, the committee has tied up with Business Standard as SIMSREE’s media partner, and set up a YouTube channel for the college. In the coming year, in addition to all the work already being done, the committee plans to maintain constant contact with the top Industrialists who have visited the college in form of Interviews, articles on blogs, on websites etc; also carrying out of online marketing for the college using various tools like Dare2Compete, SIMPLY SIMSREE Blog and other online tools. Various events like Online Treasure Hunts and quarterly quizzes are being planned.

Activities :

  1. Website:–In the past one year, the Media Committee has conceptualized and maintained the website.

  2. Online Magazine: –The Media Committee has also brought out issues of its magazine-Simposium.

  3. B-School Ranking Forms:–Various B-School ranking forms were filled, like CRISIL, C-fore, Business India, Outlook, Business World, Dalal Street etc.

  4. Seminars:–The Media Committee hosts a seminar for aspiring SIMSREE students once the CET results are declared. Also the coordination of entire ARC and admission processes and the induction program with the other SMA teams is carried out by the media committee.

  5. Providing media support for college events:– Like Simergence, E-Cell week, Simerations etc also comes under the domain of the Media Committee. The Media Committee places advertisements in various magazines like Business Barons, Career 360 Degree, Business World etc.  The committee also handles publicity on various Online Forums like Dare2Compete, PagalGuy, SIMPLY Simsree Blog , Facebook , Twitter etc.
