The programme covers all the related areas of marketing including public sector marketing. It seeks to develop and integrate the top management perspective which is necessary for a marketing executive to move into top level general management positions. Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have practical experience in any of the following related areas: Marketing Planning, Sales Management, Market Research, Distribution, Public Relations, Advertising, Export Marketing and Applied Economics.
Admission: Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be considered eligible for admission to the Part–Time degree courses, every candidate must have:
- Passed a Bachelors degree examination in any faculty & acquired a minimum Two years work experience at the Executive/Supervisory level after graduation.
- He/She should appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the institute.
In selecting the candidate for admission, weightage will be given to
- Scholastic record of the candidate
- Level and the nature of Work Experience
- Performance in the selection programme conducted by the institute
Applicants are required to submit the following certificates for verification at the time of payment of fees:
- Certified True Copy of Mark Sheet of Bachelor’s Degree Examination
- Certified True Copy of any other University Degree and/or Professional Diploma if any
- Certified True Copy of Work Experience (if the work experience is in more than one company, a separate work experience certificate signed by the employer stating clearly the nature of work experience is to be submitted)
