• Round 2 & 3: The shortlisted teams from the first round will be invited to campus to showcase their Marketing Knowledge and Skills.

• Teams can be a mix of both First year and Second year students.

Bid 2 Win is a real-time simulation for all the cricket lovers wherein the teams witness and experience the brains behind the rich IPL bidding process. They outbid each other for the best players and franchises.

The game is based on the actual IPL bidding format and gives the teams a sense of a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment that exists in the real bidding scenario. It aims to judge the prudence and intuition of the participants, and the skill with which they are able to analyze the cricketing world.

Guidelines:

• Each panel of participants will be given a topic and would be given a cumulative time of 1 minute to speak on the topic.
• Participants will try to speak uninterrupted on the topic in Queen’s English without hesitation, repetition, or deviation from the topic.
• Participants may ‘JAM’ other participants and state their objection. The full list of objections along with the points associated with each objection will be explained on the spot by the JAM master.
• If the objection is accepted, the participant would get positive points, and the chance to speak. In case of an incorrect objection, the participant who objects will get negative points, and the interrupted participant would continue speaking.
• Participants will get one point for each second they speak uninterrupted.
• The decision of the JAM master will be final and binding.

The round will include finding clues in the crime location (taking photos of the clues), questioning the witnesses and following your instincts to further investigate and present the same to the judge on the judgment day.

Details of the Competition:

This competition consists of two rounds.

• Qualifier Round:

This round consists of an online quiz which shall take place on 6th February 2020, 10:30 PM. The teams shortlisted in Round 1 will make their way forward into the next round.

• Final Round:

Participants shortlisted in Round 1 shall be invited at our campus (SIMSREE) for this round. Teams will have to go through multiple energizing yet thrilling rounds throughout the day.

Guidelines for Registration:

• Every team shall comprise of 4 members each.
• Participants of a team shall be from the same institute and no participant can be a part of more than one team.
• There shall be no restriction on the number of teams per institute.
• Team can have a combination of 1st year and 2nd year students.
• No changes in the team composition shall be permitted post-registration.
• In case of any conflict, the decision of Organizers/Co-ordinators shall be considered final.
