The Sydenham Management
Association (SMA) stands at the apex of the student
committee structure at SIMSREE. SMA undertakes the important
activity of coordination between the students and the
management. The SMA includes the Joint Chairpersons,

Lecture Committee |
| |
The Guest
Lecture Committee organizes guest lectures, invites
experts in various fields and provides the platform
for the exchange of ideas and opinions between these
experts and the students, on contemporary issues. The
Committee also arranges frequent batch wise and sector
wise meets which in addition to strengthening the ties
between the existing students and the industry; help
students to gain an insight into the corporate world.

The ability of SIMSREE
in creating strong leaders is proven by the qualities
of individuals that have passed out from the institute.
The Alumni Committee undertakes the task of maintaining
a strong link between our esteemed alumni and the institute
via Mentorship program, where each student is assigned
a high profile alumni mentor, who helps to nurture and
guide the student in the chosen field of interest.

3.Clubs |

The Clubs are divided into 4 categories - Finance Club,
Marketing Club, HR Club and Operations Club.The main motive of having clubs is to develop skills of
students depending upon the specializations they prefer.Students can be part of various clubs and
assimilate knowledge of various fields.The committee organizes workshops and interactive sessions
which harnesses student's talents.The Committee fine-tunes the skills of students participating in
various inter and intra college activities by holding repeated mock sessions that would ensure the
students of SIMSREE stand a class apart from the rest. The Committee constantly tracks the dynamic business
environment recommending additional inputs given to the students to include the latest developments in the business world.

4. Media
& Corporate Communications Committee |

The primary role of
the Media & Corporate Communications Committee is
to ensure building of brand SIMSREE, by projecting the
Institute's image to the Industry and Corporate world
via strategic media tie-ups, releasing corporate material,
designing and printing of important brochures. They
also maintain, develop and update website of SIMSREE.

5. The Entrepreneurship
Cell |

The E-Cell is a new committee
that endeavors to bring out the young industry stalwarts.
The E- cell shall seek to form fruitful relationship with
the venture and angel investors. It is affiliated with
the E-cell at IIT Bombay which is the largest E-cell in
the country. The E-cell plans to organize b-plan competitions
and simulate the real life challenges through live case
studies.

6. The Student
social responsibility cell |

The SSR attempts to imbibe
the spirit of the service to the society and responsible
citizens. It plans to organize tree plantation drives,
AIDS awareness campaigns , civil defence lectures and
environment protection programs with innovative methods
of funding like junkyard sales.
