Frequently Asked Questions about SIMSREE

The Courses offered at SIMSREE include:

  • 2 year full time MMS and PGDBM courses
  • 3 year part time courses which include MFM (Masters in financial Management) and MMM (Masters in Marketing Management)

The MMS course is affiliated to University of Mumbai, while the PGDBM course is the only fully autonomous course offered by the Government of Maharashtra and is run exclusively by and at SIMSREE. Both the courses are AICTE approved.

The Full time courses offer the following specializations for both MMS and PGDBM
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Human Resources
  • Operations
  • Systems
Full time courses run for 2 years and follow semester pattern (two semesters per year). The first year subjects are common across all specializations.

  • MMS : 120 seats
  • PGDBM : 60 seats
  • Total : 180 seats

Part time course:

  • MMM : 30 seats
  • MFM : 30 seats

Generally an advertisement inviting applications for the MMS and PGDM full-time program is put up in the leading newspapers a month or two before the exam. For regular update visit DTE website http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/

SIMSREE provides hostel facilities to both male and female Candidates, but these hostel accommodations are limited to outside Mumbai students.
